About the Team

This internship offers meaningful hands-on experience within the Marketing & Communications team of a mission-driven healthcare ministry. The team supports the day-to-day operations of a Roman Catholic organization, focusing on content development, internal communications, event coordination, and departmental reporting. Candidates must be supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; prior experience in a Roman Catholic environment is a plus.

About the Role

As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will partner with the team to evolve how the ministry connects with its community. Your day will involve drafting social media content, managing the editorial calendar, and assisting with video recording and editing. You will also coordinate event logistics, maintain the events calendar, and support minor graphic design projects using Canva. Additionally, you will help manage inventory for marketing materials, maintain media and donor lists, and assist in compiling departmental reports. This role is designed for someone currently enrolled in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Content Creation, Journalism, or a related field, or who has completed an associate's degree in a related field within the last 12 months.

Hiring Process

Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva. Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools is required. The role involves working professionally and collaboratively with colleagues across the ministry.
