We are seeking a technically skilled Marine Electrician to ensure the electrical readiness of our fleet. This role is critical for maintaining vessel operations in harsh marine environments, requiring a professional who can interpret complex blueprints and electrical schematics to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance.
You will be the first line of defense for our vessel's electrical systems, troubleshooting AC/DC power distribution ranging from 12V DC to 480V three-phase. Your day-to-day involves diagnosing faults in propulsion-related systems, including MTU 4000 and John Deere gensets, as well as managing automation and PLC-based controls. Beyond repairs, you will install and upgrade wiring and components in strict adherence to USCG and ABYC standards, ensuring all navigation, communication, and safety systems function flawlessly.
In this position, you will not only maintain equipment but also champion the Company's RESPECT Values and Code of Conduct. You will collaborate closely with Port Engineers and vessel crews to resolve fleet-wide issues, support dry-dock operations, and guide junior technicians in best practices for marine electrical troubleshooting.
