About the Role

We are seeking a 1st Class Marine Electrician to support our 1st Shift operations at our Norfolk, VA shipyard. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical and electro-mechanical systems across ferries, dredges, and various marine vessels. You will work under the direction of a supervisor to ensure all work complies with OSHA, USCG, ABS, U.S. Navy, and company safety requirements.

Your day-to-day involves interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints to plan and execute complex installations, including placing conduit, pulling cables, and assembling instrument panels. You will troubleshoot and repair AC and DC generators, switchboards, motors, and alarm circuits, often working in challenging environments such as confined spaces, aloft, or aboard ships at sea. This position requires the ability to work independently, control costs within your area of responsibility, and collaborate effectively with a steady, reliable team.

Key Responsibilities
