As an Entry Marine Electrician, you will join a dynamic team supporting U.S. Naval Ships in Norfolk, VA. Your primary focus is performing general manual labor to support the critical mission of protecting and serving the Military. You will work closely with the customer and fellow Serco team members to deliver quality work on-board U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and troubleshoot electromechanical and electronic assemblies. You will perform electrical work on ships, boats, and marine equipment, including repairing wiring to restore power to engines and navigation systems. Your day-to-day involves conducting tests, recording engineering data, and ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with NAVSEA standards. You will play a vital role in securing work areas aboard vessels to prevent electrical shock and maintaining the integrity of C5ISR system installations.
