As an Entry Marine Electrician, you will join a dynamic team supporting U.S. Naval Ships in Norfolk, VA. Your primary focus is performing quality work on-board U.S. Naval Ships and military installations, ensuring safe and successful operations for our Navy customer. You will be part of a collaborative environment working closely with the customer and fellow Serco team members to deliver critical cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations.
In this role, you will perform general manual labor to support the mission of protecting and serving our Military. You will fabricate, assemble, and troubleshoot electromechanical and electronic assemblies, applying appropriate safety techniques throughout. Your day-to-day involves performing electrical work on ships and marine equipment, repairing wiring to restore power to engines and navigation systems, and securing work areas to prevent electrical shock. You will also conduct tests, record engineering data, and maintain specified records of drawings and computations.
