White River Marine Group is dedicated to crafting high-quality marine products. The Yacht Assembler plays a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that every vessel is built to the highest standards of quality and safety before reaching our internal customers.
As a Yacht Assembler, you will be the hands-on expert responsible for the complete assembly of our yachts. Your work spans from the initial joining of the deck to the hull, through to final component installations, wiring, and carpeting. You will select the correct parts based on part number, color, and size, ensuring a perfect fit for each specific boat model.
Your day-to-day involves a variety of technical tasks, including pre-cutting fiberglass mats and hoses, drilling precise holes for securing accessories, and applying glass bulkheads with finish putty. You will also be responsible for auditing boats for final shipping and checking electrical wiring systems. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, often under general supervision, while utilizing established procedures and occasional independent judgment to resolve problems.
This position offers a dynamic environment where you will work both inside and outside. You will need to adapt to varying conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and intermittent noise. The workspace may involve exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, solvents, and slippery or uneven surfaces. The role requires physical stamina for light to moderate lifting, bending, reaching, and working under boats.
