The Manufacturing Technician is a vital part of our production team, responsible for the end-to-end creation and finishing of medical devices. This role bridges the gap between raw materials and finished products, ensuring every component meets the highest standards of precision and safety.
In this position, you will manage secondary processes such as deburring, mirror polishing, media blasting, filing, cleaning, and packaging. Beyond manual fabrication, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment, conducting quality inspections at every stage of the manufacturing lifecycle, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your work directly impacts the reliability and compliance of life-saving medical technology.
This role operates within a dynamic machine shop environment that may also include clean room settings. You will be expected to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gowns, hair nets, shoe covers, nitrile gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection, depending on the specific task. The environment may involve exposure to metallic powders, mill coolants, cleaning solutions, and other industrial materials. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills with rotary tools and die grinders.
