We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join a leading medical device manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, MI. In this fast-paced environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production lines. This position is designed for a technician who thrives on independent technical responsibilities while collaborating closely with internal production and operations teams.
You will be the first line of defense for our manufacturing equipment, responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Your work directly supports our mission to deliver high-quality medical devices by minimizing downtime and driving process improvement activities. As a key member of the team, you will also provide guidance to entry-level employees, helping to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
This role operates within a regulated medical device manufacturing setting, requiring a high degree of precision and adherence to safety standards. You will work the 2nd Shift, where you will manage moderate supervision with significant autonomy in your daily technical tasks. The environment is dynamic, demanding quick responses to equipment failures and the ability to analyze technical data to support operational goals.
Candidates selected for this opportunity will undergo a standard screening process to verify technical competencies and availability for the 4-month duration (with potential for extension). Successful applicants will be integrated into the team to support immediate production needs.
