About the Role
The Maintenance Technician serves as the backbone of our facility's operational continuity, ensuring the upkeep and proper functionality of all production equipment and facilities. This role is critical for minimizing downtime through proactive repair, rebuilding, and replacement strategies. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues, while also managing general facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
In this position, you will not only maintain existing assets but also develop and implement maintenance schedules for new equipment. The role requires a blend of technical precision and practical problem-solving, as you will monitor facility systems for efficiency, recommend equipment replacements, and maintain a clean, organized maintenance room. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with outside contractors when necessary to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
