About the Role
This position serves as a pivotal support function for manufacturing and welding processes within our Water Tank facility in Lebanon, Tennessee. The role is designed to plan, direct, and coordinate Manufacturing Engineering Support, ensuring operational excellence through data-driven analysis and strategic workflow design. You will work fully onsite during the first shift, acting as a bridge between engineering, plant management, and production teams to drive efficiency and product introduction.
In this capacity, you will lead cross-functional teams to solve complex production issues and guide the introduction of new products. The role involves a significant supervisory component, where you will manage non-exempt personnel, oversee hiring and training, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. By conferring with vendors, planning workforce utilization, and applying ergonomic best practices, you will help maintain the facility's capacity to meet production goals while supporting the broader mission of A.O. Smith.
