This position serves as a pivotal support function within the Manufacturing Engineering team at our Lebanon, TN plant. You will plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing and welding processes for our water tank facility, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency. Working fully onsite during the first shift, you will act as a bridge between engineering, design, and production teams to drive continuous improvement.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to solve complex production issues and manage product introductions. Your day-to-day involves analyzing workforce utilization, designing equipment layouts for maximum efficiency, and collaborating with vendors to secure high-quality materials and equipment. You will also provide guidance to Manufacturing Engineers, Industrial Engineers, and maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and problem-solving. Beyond technical execution, you will supervise non-exempt personnel, handling hiring, training, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution in alignment with organizational policies.
