About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and recommend cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods that align with safety, product specifications, and quality standards. Your work will drive improvements to production processes, methods, and controls while coordinating manufacturing launches for new or revised products. You will play a key role in troubleshooting equipment issues and determining the root cause of failures throughout the plant, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and recommend cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods
- check_circlePerform product and process analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement
- check_circleDocument work standards, control plans, PFMEA, and machine instructions
- check_circleProvide training to team members on process and equipment skills
- check_circleLead investigations into process abnormalities to determine root cause
- check_circleEnsure processes comply with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and OSHA regulations
- check_circleDevelop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance plans for equipment
- check_circleSupport capacity analysis and ROI on current and future year plans
- check_circleSupervise installation of new equipment and manage project budgets
- check_circleDesign, develop, and test tooling, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering
- verified2 – 3 years of experience
- verifiedKnowledge of statics, dynamics, and mechanical principals
- verifiedKnowledge of electrical principles, circuitry, and controls
- verifiedAbility to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic
- verifiedKnowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- verifiedAbility to read/interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- verifiedCAD experience required
- verifiedIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Nice to Have
2-3 years of experience. Manufacturing experience in an automotive business. SolidWorks experience.
