Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInvestigate non-conforming materials and initiate CAPAs for production floor issues
- check_circleSpecify equipment and fixturing requirements and collaborate with suppliers on design
- check_circleDevelop validation plans and evaluate process repeatability using statistical methodologies
- check_circleGenerate and maintain engineering documentation including ECOs, FMEAs, and protocols
- check_circleDesign and improve manufacturing methods, systems, and processes to optimize quality and cost
- check_circleSupport new product development by ensuring designs facilitate ease of manufacturing and yield
- check_circleManage day-to-day activities and provide coaching to Manufacturing Engineering team members
- check_circleProvide customer support as a subject matter expert and implement required production changes
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in engineering
- verified5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing/production environment
- verified3+ years with advanced Engineering degree
- verifiedExperience with CAPA's, MRB's, and/or NCMR's
- verifiedExperience with statistical analysis of Production processes
- verifiedExperience with equipment and/or process qualifications and validations (IQ,OQ, PQ)
- verifiedExperience writing protocols, reports and engineering change orders
Nice to Have
Experience designing and conducting DOEs using MiniTab. Advanced degree in Engineering. Three years of medical device manufacturing or manufacturing in highly regulated environment. Experience with quality standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
