We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes within industrial assembly lines, with a preference for experience in the HVAC industry. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Scheduling, Design Engineering, and sheet metal fabrication. You will act as the lead and primary point of contact for internal and external contractors, taking ownership of projects from identification of bottlenecks to the implementation of effective solutions. A key part of your day will involve presenting solutions to higher management and managing project budgets, including the creation of Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR) and participation in sourcing board meetings.
