As a Managing Consultant, Archaeologist, you will lead the future of cultural resource management, shaping meaningful outcomes across complex, high-impact projects. This role is designed for a management-level professional who thrives at the intersection of technical depth and strategic influence.
You will guide archaeological projects that directly influence responsible development and environmental stewardship. Your work ensures that infrastructure, energy, and development projects move forward responsibly, balancing progress with the preservation of our shared history. You will serve as a trusted technical expert, helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes while protecting culturally significant sites. Education: Graduate degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or closely related field or 6 to 8 years of experience.
Registered Professional Archaeologist; Ability to be listed on BLM cultural resources use permits; Previous experience with mapping equipment and other special application equipment (e.g., total station, GPS, etc.); Previous laboratory materials processing experience; Strong oral and written communication skills; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel; Detail oriented; resourceful; Positive and energetic attitude; Self-motivated with strong initiative
