As Saab prepares to launch its manufacturing operation in Grayling, Michigan, we are building a dedicated team to lead this critical expansion. This role sits at the heart of our new facility, serving as the integral link between manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, facilities, safety, and quality teams.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Production Manager will lead the on-site production team in Grayling, overseeing all technical production work from the receipt of components through assembly, installation, testing, and final shipment. This position is accountable for manufacturing production development, instilling best practices in manufacturing techniques, and qualifying new products to meet both Saab and customer requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement to ensure efficient production while championing Saab's core values: Trust, Drive, Expertise, and Support. The role requires fostering a culture of high-quality delivery, reliability, and cost-effectiveness while managing workflows, prioritization, training, and safety protocols. Success in this position involves engaging with senior leadership to secure support for production efforts and ensuring the organization operates with strategic agility.
