As an integral member of the Clinical Operations team, the Manager, Laboratory and Sample Management will serve as a pivotal link between internal teams, external diagnostic programs, partner laboratories, and CROs. This role exists to ensure the integrity, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of sample management and laboratory processes across multiple clinical studies.
In this position, you will guide the day-to-day communication required to ensure on-time delivery of samples and accurate reporting of data. You will oversee the entire clinical sample lifecycle, from central and third-party laboratories to long-term storage inventories, ensuring all holdings meet rigorous business and regulatory requirements. Your work will involve proactive identification and resolution of lab-related issues, supporting quality assurance activities, and managing vendor relationships from evaluation through contract execution. You will also play a key role in internal data exchange based on samples processed at diagnostic laboratories and support the creation of lab-related documents for both internal and site-facing audiences.
This role is based out of our corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model; candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs. The position may involve some travel to support clinical initiatives and vendor interactions.
