About the Role

Based in New Orleans (Algiers), LA, the Manager in Training serves as a vital partner to the Store Manager, assisting with overall operations and administrative duties. This role is designed for individuals passionate about retail who are ready to learn the intricacies of running a Hibbett Sports or City Gear store. You will become knowledgeable in every product area and department, helping to determine the methods necessary to accomplish the store's goals and initiatives.

As an ambassador of the brand, you are responsible for creating a unique customer experience that helps acquire and retain long-time customers. In the absence of the Store Manager, you assume full supervisory control, carrying out responsibilities ranging from interviewing and training staff to resolving problems and directing work. You will be trained in the Store Manager's duties, ensuring the store runs smoothly and profitably even when leadership is away.
