About the Role

Peraton is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the contracts team managing the Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract. This senior leadership position is pivotal in overseeing the full lifecycle management of this critical mission contract in partnership with the FAA. The role involves strategic planning, task order proposal development, negotiations, modifications, and close-out, ensuring strict compliance with all laws and regulations.

In this capacity, you will manage and provide leadership for the newly-created Sector contracts function. You will guide proposal preparation, oversee contract negotiation and administration, and engage in customer contact to shape contract acquisitions and fulfillment. Your goal is to ensure the BNATCS Sector contracts achieve optimal operational performance by adhering to policies and procedures, driving performance standards that meet the FAA's needs, and securing excellent CPARs and award fee scores. You will collaborate with executive leadership to develop contracting strategies and assist the sector team in risk mitigation, change management, and resolving complex contractual issues.

As a key advisor, you will review and resolve compliance issues, ensuring all contracting activities adhere to federal regulations including the AMS, FAR, CAS, and applicable agency policies. You will provide strategic guidance on complex bids involving subcontractors and interpret terms and conditions for business team members. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of geographically dispersed contract professionals, fostering a high-performance environment through training, performance evaluations, and evidence-based feedback.
