Located at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, this full-time Mammography position within the Radiology Department is designed for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will perform mammography procedures in strict accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, while upholding the organization's policies, values, and mission.
In this onsite role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, reviewing their history and physician orders to ensure they understand the procedures and equipment involved. Your day will involve educating patients, preparing and administering contrast media or medications when ordered, and continuously monitoring patient conditions. You will also assist physicians with interventional procedures, such as fine needle aspiration and needle localization, while managing equipment setup, safety standards, and quality control to ensure compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) regulations.
