We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team and address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal for your assigned property. You will work under the guidance of the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our communities.
Your day will involve performing various maintenance functions, including repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds. You will handle general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop replacement, and window or door repairs. Beyond repairs, you will engage in proactive preventative maintenance for siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler systems, pools, and elevators.
Customer satisfaction is central to your work. You will interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents, fostering positive relationships and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. You will also inspect property grounds and common areas to identify issues requiring attention and assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal, fires, or floods. As part of our team, you will participate in emergency on-call assignments and adhere to established response times.
