About the Maintenance Technician Role

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team and address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal for your assigned property. You will work closely with the maintenance supervisor and property manager to ensure all operations run smoothly.

Your day will involve performing various maintenance functions, including repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds. You will handle general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop replacement, and window or door repairs. Additionally, you will engage in proactive preventative maintenance for siding, painting, lighting, sprinklers, pools, and elevators.

Beyond technical repairs, you will inspect property grounds and common areas to identify safety issues and ensure cleanliness. You will be a key part of our emergency response team, assisting with snow removal, inclement weather, fires, and floods. Throughout your shift, you will interact courteously and professionally with residents, fostering positive relationships and promoting a safe, risk-managed environment.
