About the Role
This position serves as a vital support to the Building Engineer, offering an opportunity to develop skills across a broad spectrum of building maintenance. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in a high-rise environment and are dedicated to ensuring the physical condition of buildings remains safe and efficient.
In this capacity, you will perform routine preventive maintenance to prevent system deterioration and handle a variety of repair tasks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve maintaining and repairing building fixtures such as lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, flooring, gutters, and drains. You will also execute maintenance duties involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Additionally, you will operate and perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and related systems. This role requires flexibility, as the schedule may vary across a 7-day week with on-call availability to meet the needs of the community.
