Optima is a design-driven real estate development firm rooted in the modernist tradition, with offices in Illinois and Arizona. For over 40 years, we have been developing, designing, building, and managing striking urban and suburban luxury residential communities. From the beginning, our mission has been to reinvent housing by integrating new construction functions within one company. We control and execute every aspect of the process in-house—development, architecture, construction, sales, and management—creating a dynamic system that offers greater focus and fluidity. We are committed to delivering extraordinary living through design, innovation, sustainability, and management.
As a Maintenance Technician for Optima, you will work directly for the developer performing maintenance services for a luxury apartment community. We believe that maintenance plays one of the most critical roles in the success of our properties. This role is ideal for a hardworking problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment and values a career that rewards boldness and perseverance.
In this position, you will be the backbone of property operations, ensuring our communities remain in top condition. Your day will involve completing service requests, managing unit turns, and executing preventative maintenance tasks. You will handle a variety of repairs including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, while also maintaining general upkeep of the property grounds and amenity areas. Beyond technical skills, you will serve as a key point of contact for residents, requiring an outgoing attitude and exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive living experience.
At Optima, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members. We believe that benefits should be meaningful and a part of what makes us great. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or other legally-protected characteristics.
Optima does not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third-party recruiting agencies in response to job postings. No fee will be paid to third parties who submit unsolicited candidates directly to Optima team members or the Optima people experience team. Please apply directly through our official channels.
