About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is a foundational role critical to the success of our apartment communities. This position is designed for a resident-focused team player with a strong technical aptitude who takes pride in their work. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the assigned community.
In this role, you will ensure all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to adhere to budget guidelines, maintain an effective preventative maintenance program, and ensure the physical condition of the community meets company operating and safety standards. Your day-to-day will involve communicating effectively with residents, fellow employees, and vendors, while also assisting with the move-in/move-out process and maintaining excellent curb appeal.
You will also play a key role in safety and liability management by inspecting grounds and buildings, maintaining hazard communications programs, and performing swimming pool maintenance. As part of the team, you will participate in an on-call rotation for emergency services and contribute to the general upkeep of office and common areas.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems. The role requires reliable transportation and the ability to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays. Applicants must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.

Requirements
