This position serves as a critical escalation point for maintenance operations, responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining assigned equipment with a direct impact on production and quality. Working under minimal supervision, you will perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment. You will also troubleshoot out-of-service equipment, mentor maintenance personnel in developing appropriate skillsets, and oversee the routine maintenance provided by junior engineers.
Beyond equipment repair, you will manage facility and building projects, including minor space renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements. The role requires analyzing production delays and spoilage causes to initiate corrective actions, ensuring operational continuity. You will also oversee the certification and operation of industrial lift equipment and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and ticketing systems.
