This position serves as a critical escalation point within our maintenance operations, ensuring the continuous reliability of our production lines. Under minimal supervision, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of assigned equipment—including conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary systems. Your work directly impacts production quality and efficiency, requiring you to not only troubleshoot and repair but also mentor junior personnel and oversee facility projects.
You will act as a bridge between technical execution and operational strategy. Beyond daily repairs, you will analyze production delays and spoilage causes to implement corrective actions, ensuring that equipment malfunctions are resolved permanently. The role also involves overseeing routine maintenance provided by junior engineers, providing guidance and training to help them develop appropriate skillsets.
Your day will be a mix of hands-on technical work and strategic oversight. You will perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on complex machinery. When equipment goes out of service, you will lead the troubleshooting efforts, documenting every issue in the maintenance log and our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
You will also manage facility and building projects, ranging from minor space renovations and contractor oversight to efficiency improvements. This includes tasks like light bulb replacement, door repairs, and plumbing. A significant portion of your time will be spent certifying and operating industrial lift equipment (such as scissor lifts and boom lifts) and ensuring all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out and Arc Flash protocols, are strictly followed.
Candidates selected for this role will be evaluated on their technical proficiency with PLC logic systems, their ability to troubleshoot inputs and outputs, and their experience with automation equipment. The interview process will assess your practical skills in maintaining a safe work environment and your capacity to mentor others.
