This position serves as a critical escalation point for maintenance operations, responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining assigned equipment with a direct impact on production and quality. Under minimal supervision, you will perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment.
In this role, you will not only troubleshoot out-of-service equipment but also mentor maintenance personnel in developing appropriate skillsets. You will oversee projects ranging from minor space renovations and inventory management to contractor oversight and building efficiency improvements. Additionally, you will monitor the routine maintenance provided by junior engineers, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure operational excellence.
Your day-to-day involves analyzing production delays and spoilage causes to initiate corrective actions, documenting all work in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and maintaining accurate logs for facility systems like fire pumps and generators. You will also certify on various industrial lift equipment and assist in facility projects such as carpentry, plumbing, and furniture installation.

Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or equivalent. Graduate of an apprenticeship program or hold current trade certification. Basic skill level in multiple computer software packages including Microsoft Excel. Experience working with inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot these systems. Willing to travel at least/up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Must be willing to learn new equipment as it is brought on-line.
