About the Role
This position serves as a critical escalation point for maintenance operations, responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining assigned equipment with a direct impact on production and quality. Working under minimal supervision, you will perform preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment. Your role extends beyond individual tasks to mentoring maintenance personnel, developing their skillsets, and overseeing the routine maintenance provided by junior engineers.
You will act as a key problem-solver, analyzing the causes of production delays and equipment malfunctions to initiate corrective procedures. The role involves documenting all work in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintaining accurate operating logs for facility systems such as fire pumps, generators, and HVAC equipment. Additionally, you will oversee assigned projects, including minor space renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements.
