This position is for a Maintenance Tech I supporting a client that creates breakthrough products shaping industries. The team solves complex engineering challenges to transform how the world flies, drives, builds, and powers. Through ingenuity and advanced manufacturing techniques, they deliver products that ensure customer success.
As a Maintenance Tech I, you will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining the quality and efficiency of heavy equipment. You will work in close partnership with customers to address complex engineering needs. The role involves designing, fabricating, installing, repairing, modifying, and maintaining machines, equipment, structures, and facilities. You will handle a wide variety of materials, including machine parts, metal stock, compressed gases, specialty metals, and fiber optics.
You will utilize tools common to the crafts of millwright, pipefitter, welder, rigger, and blacksmith. Your daily tasks will involve operating drill presses, saws, grinders, pipe fitting equipment, welding and burning equipment, hoists, and cranes. You will also engage with non-destructive testing equipment and PLC terminals. The work requires a working knowledge of welding, machine repair, hydraulics, sheet metal, and reading blueprints.
This is a 3rd shift position (6pm - 6am) located in Chandler, AZ. The role requires a fixed work schedule of 8- or 12-hour shifts. You must be willing to work evenings, nights, holidays, and overtime. Training will initially take place on the day shift before transitioning to the graveyard shift.
Candidates must satisfactorily pass a comprehensive online and hands-on skills test, as well as a skills demonstration. The process also includes a physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Permanent employment is subject to a probation period not to exceed 6 months.
