As a Maintenance Technician at Medline Industries, LP, you will serve as a critical escalation point for production equipment, ensuring the seamless operation of conveyors, automation systems, and robotics. In this role, you are responsible for the full lifecycle of equipment care—from setup and preventative maintenance to troubleshooting and repair. Your work directly impacts production quality and efficiency, requiring you to analyze root causes of downtime and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring issues.
Beyond the production floor, you will act as a versatile facility resource, handling building project work such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. This position demands a hands-on approach where you will frequently interact with complex machinery, document all activities in our CMMS, and maintain accurate logs for critical facility systems like fire pumps and HVAC units. You will also assist in assembling and testing new equipment to verify correct operation before it goes live.

Candidates selected for this position will be evaluated based on their technical experience with conveyor and automation equipment, their ability to troubleshoot PLC logic systems, and their physical capability to perform the essential functions of the role. Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or equivalent. Graduate of an apprenticeship program or hold current trade certification. At least 3 years of experience in a building maintenance position servicing a facility larger than 75,000 square feet.
Skills: Microsoft Excel, PLC Logic, Lock Out/tag Out, Arc Flash, Ppe, Fork Truck, CMMS, Conveyor, Automation, Robotics.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or HVAC preferred.
