The Maintenance Supervisor is the frontline guardian of resident satisfaction at our multifamily properties. This role is accountable for delivering on our core commitments: ensuring quality move-ins, resolving service requests with speed and care, and providing the personal attention that makes a house feel like a home. You will be instrumental in helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service, acting as the primary point of contact for maintenance needs while representing the company professionally at all times.
Your day is a blend of hands-on technical work and strategic oversight. You will prepare market-ready apartments by managing painting, carpet repairs, and general housekeeping to ensure a pristine product for new residents. Beyond individual units, you will maintain the grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, keeping them clean and safe from debris.
You will respond to resident service requests across a wide spectrum of maintenance functions, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and snow removal. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to scheduling and performing preventative maintenance, ensuring systems run smoothly before issues arise. You will also manage on-call emergency procedures and report any budget-affecting issues, such as life safety concerns or property damages, to management.
This role operates within a professional office environment but requires significant mobility. You will routinely travel between properties in varying weather conditions, moving from floor to floor and climbing stairs. The position demands the ability to exert force to lift, carry, and move objects up to 100 pounds and to operate standard office machinery. You must be prepared to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday to support the company's business needs.
Cushman & Wakefield is committed to finding the right talent through a fair and efficient process. We review applications to identify candidates who align with our mission of superior service. Qualified candidates will be contacted to discuss their experience and availability for the required shifts.
Cushman & Wakefield is an Equal Opportunity employer to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities. Discrimination of any type will not be tolerated. We believe that a diverse workforce drives innovation and better serves our residents.
