About the Role
Comunilife Inc. is seeking dedicated Maintenance Specialists to support its Bronx Congregate program. In this role, you will be the guardian of our facilities, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and comfortable for both staff and clients. You may be assigned to congregate, transition, or scattered site programs, with the flexibility to move between sites as program needs evolve.
Your day-to-day impact involves maintaining the physical integrity of our buildings while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety. From performing essential repairs to managing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, you will work harmoniously with our team to uphold Comunilife's principles. This position is vital to creating a secure environment where our clients can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform light plumbing repairs including unclogging drains
- check_circleClean and maintain HVAC systems including filter and belt changes
- check_circleMonitor heating and air conditioning systems and log potential issues
- check_circleMonitor facility entrances for cleanliness and remove snow or hazardous conditions
- check_circleCarry out cleaning duties for floors, bathrooms, and public areas
- check_circleTake inventory of janitorial supplies and ensure timely replacement
- check_circleAssist in fire safety drills, procedures, and training
- check_circleAlert supervisors to unusual occurrences or rule violations
- check_circleExecute light electrical tasks such as replacing fixtures and ballasts
- check_circleConduct general carpentry, painting, patching, and sheet rock repairs

Requirements
