About the Role
The Maintenance Person is a vital contributor to the hotel's commitment to high-quality guest satisfaction and teamwork. This role exists to ensure the property operates safely and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment. You will be the first line of defense in maintaining the appearance and functionality of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests and a safe environment for our team.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
- check_circleDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
- check_circleRespond to maintenance requests from guests and staff promptly
- check_circleConduct regular inspections of fire alarms, elevators, and generators
- check_circleMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- check_circleCoordinate with departments and contractors for repairs and safety
- check_circlePerform general repairs in guest rooms and public areas
- check_circleAssist with renovations, remodeling projects, and equipment upgrades
- check_circleEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- check_circleRespond to emergency situations like power outages and plumbing leaks
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade profession
- verifiedVocational School Certification preferred
- verifiedSolid experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment
- verifiedGeneral carpentry skills
- verifiedKnowledge and use of basic hand and power tools required
