Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform preventative maintenance including lubrication, inspections, and adjustments
- check_circleInstall, align, dismantle, and move woodworking machinery using cranes and rigging
- check_circleDiagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
- check_circleFabricate and weld components or guards as required for repairs or modifications
- check_circleMaintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS entries
- check_circleCollaborate with production operators to address machine problems
- check_circleSupport and educate technicians during troubleshooting of production equipment
- check_circleConduct precision alignment and calibration for cutting, shaping, and routing machinery
- check_circleInspect dust collection, ventilation, and vacuum systems for safe operation
- check_circleRead blueprints and technical schematics to guide maintenance activities
Requirements
- verifiedCompletion of a millwright apprenticeship or equivalent
- verified3-5 years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience in manufacturing
- verifiedStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps and motors
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical manuals
- verifiedSkilled in welding and machining (MIG/TIG/Stick, lathe, milling machine)
- verifiedBasic electrical troubleshooting skills (sensors, relays, VFDs)
- verifiedProficient with precision measurement tools and alignment equipment
