About the Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be the backbone of our production floor, ensuring our plant equipment operates at peak efficiency. This role is critical to our mission of delivering function-critical products to the aerospace and defense sectors. You will partner with operators, supervisors, and engineers to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain the physical infrastructure of our Chittenango, NY facility.

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of hands-on troubleshooting and preventive care. You will monitor machines to detect malfunctions, dismantle defective equipment to install new or repaired parts, and manage pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and electronic control systems. From troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to maintaining air filtration systems and lights, your work ensures our startup operations and production lines run smoothly. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies and adhering to strict safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
