About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team at our Chittenango, NY facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuous operation of our plant production equipment. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide array of machinery, including pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and electronic control systems utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

In this position, you will work closely with operators, supervisors, and engineers to diagnose machine malfunctions and implement repairs. Your day-to-day activities will involve performing preventive maintenance, managing supply orders, and supporting startup operations such as air filtration and dust collection systems. Reliability and a commitment to safety are essential, as you will adhere to strict lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety policies while working near moving mechanical parts.
