About the Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be the backbone of our production operations at our Chittenango, NY facility. This role exists to ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of our plant equipment, supporting our mission to deliver function-critical products to the aerospace and defense sectors.

In this position, you will partner with operators, engineers, and leadership to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions. Your day-to-day involves troubleshooting machine level control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and managing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of maintenance tasks: from ordering supplies and performing preventive maintenance schedules to dismantling defective machines, installing new parts, and repairing physical structures. Safety is paramount; you will strictly adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures and all safety policies while working near moving mechanical parts.
