About the Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be the backbone of our production operations, ensuring plant equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and take pride in keeping critical aerospace components moving.

In this position, you will perform a wide range of duties including installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery. You will monitor equipment to detect malfunctions, diagnose issues with supervisors, and execute repairs on everything from hydraulic and pneumatic systems to electronic control systems utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Your day will involve dismantling defective machines, installing new parts, maintaining pipe systems, and performing preventive maintenance according to schedule. You will also manage supplies, support startup operations like air filtration and dust collection, and ensure the physical structure of the facility remains in top condition.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills to coordinate with operators before and after repairs, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and leadership. You will be a key part of our team in Chittenango, NY, committed to safety and reliability while handling the physical demands of a manufacturing floor.
