About the Role
As the Maintenance Manager at Waters Edge Apartments in Norfolk, VA, you will have a significant mission: to coordinate the work of employees who repair and maintain our buildings and facilities. This role is about more than just fixing things; it is about how you do it. At BH, the "how" matters just as much as the "what."
In this position, you will prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee the work product of your team. You will be involved in new construction or modifications of existing properties and manage complicated tasks ranging from inventory control to monthly maintenance budget monitoring. You will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, exhibiting a strong commitment to the service needs of both internal and external customers. Your day will involve ensuring that repairs and replacements are completed within company standards, monitoring resident satisfaction, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
