Based at The Miami Beach EDITION, this position is dedicated to ensuring the physical property operates seamlessly to support our guests' exceptional experience. You will respond to and resolve guest repair requests with little to no supervision, communicating effectively to turn maintenance issues into positive interactions.
Your day will involve performing advanced troubleshooting and highly complex repairs on the hotel's Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This includes maintaining air conditioning, refrigeration, pool heaters, and kitchen equipment, as well as handling electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and general building management. You will visually inspect tools and equipment, operate shut-off valves, and utilize the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safety during all maintenance tasks.
Beyond technical repairs, you will play a key role in the team's success by training and mentoring other engineers, managing maintenance inventory, and performing Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds. You will ensure all methods, materials, and practices meet company standards and Local and National codes, while maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to strict safety and security policies.

At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience. Valid Driver's License.
