The Maintenance Coordinator serves as the operational backbone for Flowco's fleet, ensuring that our DOT and non-DOT vehicles, trailers, and field support assets remain safe, compliant, and ready for service. This role exists to bridge the gap between field operations, safety compliance, and vendor management, driving cost-effective uptime across the organization.
In this position, you will partner closely with DOT Compliance, Safety, Operations, and field leadership to oversee the entire lifecycle of fleet maintenance. From managing preventive maintenance schedules and defect management to coordinating vendor repairs and tracking asset registration renewals, your work directly impacts the reliability and safety of our daily operations.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of office-based data management and periodic field exposure. You will monitor Samsara DVIR defect submissions, track PM intervals based on mileage and engine hours, and coordinate repair assignments with dealerships and mobile mechanics. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to ensuring safety-critical defects are resolved prior to a vehicle's return to service and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
You will also evaluate vendor performance, review repair orders for accuracy, and pursue warranty recovery opportunities. While the role is primarily office-based, you will occasionally visit field locations, yards, and fleet assets to conduct audits or inspections, requiring flexibility to support operations, audits, or compliance events outside of standard business hours when necessary.
