About the Role
We are seeking a Capital Project & Maintenance Manager to join our chemical plant operations team. This pivotal role combines maintenance management, project engineering, and team supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across our facilities.
The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between strategic planning and on-the-ground execution. You will manage both internal employees and external contractors, supporting plant operations through strategic maintenance planning and the end-to-end execution of capital projects. From Front End Loading (FEL) through construction and commissioning, you will oversee the design, procurement, installation, and startup phases to drive operational continuity.
Team Context
You will provide capital project and maintenance/reliability support for multiple sites, including our facilities in Bakersfield, CA, and Edmonton, Canada. In this capacity, you will coordinate complex maintenance activities across these locations, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring that routine preventive maintenance and planned plant shutdowns are executed seamlessly.
