This role sits within the Industrial Automation business unit, specifically the Service Team dedicated to customer support, team development, and training. As the face of Honeywell, you will serve as a critical bridge between customers and internal organizations, driving problem resolution and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
The team provides building services through a mix of on-site expertise and remote capabilities. We help facilities of every size optimize their operations with smart, customized solutions, including managed services, remote building operations, predictive maintenance software, energy management, and cybersecurity protection.
As a Field Service Engineer specializing in Gas Detection, you will be the primary point of contact for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of gas detection systems. Your mission is to enhance safety and reliability by providing expert troubleshooting and solutions to complex technical issues.
In this position, you will drive the timely identification, investigation, and resolution of advanced technical challenges faced by the field team. Beyond direct customer support, you will play a pivotal role in team development by helping to design training curricula and ensuring the technical competency of the organization. You will act as a conduit between the Field Service team and Technical Support & Engineering, facilitating the replication of solutions and the documentation of all activities to maintain a robust knowledge base.
