About the Role

The Maintenance Level 2 is a vital part of the property team, ensuring that living spaces remain safe, functional, and ready for residents. This role focuses on the daily maintenance required to turn units, handle work orders, and execute monthly preventative maintenance schedules as directed by the Property Manager. You will be the first point of contact for resolving maintenance issues, working directly with the Property Manager to coordinate vendor services and verify room readiness for new tenants.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a dynamic mix of hands-on repair work and property management coordination. You will tackle a variety of tasks ranging from plumbing and electrical fixes to drywall repair, carpentry, and grounds maintenance. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to ensuring the property remains OSHA compliant, managing the maintenance shop, and utilizing the lockout/tagout system for safety. You will also interact constantly with residents, requiring a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Whether working on the exterior of the property or inside units, you will ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner to promote customer satisfaction.
