About the Role
This multiyear contract position focuses heavily on IBM mainframe technologies, requiring deep hands-on expertise in COBOL, Assembler, DB2, CICS, JCL, and batch processing. The role involves analyzing, defining, and documenting technical designs for data, workflows, and operating system environments, as well as designing and coding new application solutions and integrating changes to existing ones. The successful candidate will maintain and monitor systems after implementation, prepare test data, conduct unit and string testing, and troubleshoot application problems. Experience with FIS OPF (Open Payments Framework) and their ACH processing platform is highly valued, with prior FIS Connex experience considered a bonus.
