About the Role
The Mailroom Delivery Associate serves as a vital support pillar for the University, ensuring consistent operations across the mail room, print shop, and campus deliveries. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of communication and materials that keep the university community functioning smoothly.
In this position, you will manage daily mail room operations, including retrieving mail from the USPS distribution center, processing incoming and outgoing packages, and handling postage metering. A significant portion of the day involves executing the daily campus route for department mail and packages, as well as running necessary off-campus errands. Additionally, you will assist in the Print Shop with printing, book making, binding, stuffing, trimming, and cutting tasks.
Success in this role requires the ability to adjust to a dynamic day-to-day workload while communicating effectively in both written and oral forms. You will be expected to demonstrate a genuine willingness to support the University's mission through your daily actions and interactions.
