We are seeking a dependable Mailroom Assistant to support daily mail and package operations in our New York office. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who takes pride in staying organized, providing helpful customer service, and handling physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be the backbone of our internal logistics, ensuring that deliveries move efficiently from the front door to the right desk.
In this role, you will manage the flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence, coordinate carrier pickups, and maintain a clean, orderly mailroom. Beyond sorting and distributing items, you will support general office service needs, such as stocking supply areas and providing light reception coverage. Your attention to detail will be crucial in tracking registered mail and resolving routing issues to keep our operations running smoothly.
