The Mail Processing Specialist serves as the operational backbone for our document management and distribution needs. This role is critical in supporting UFL's Med Sup block, Life block, and all Life and Annuity blocks for which we provide Third Party Administrator services. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring that mail, email, and faxes are sorted, scanned, and processed accurately into the proper systems.
In this position, you will manage the physical flow of documents, from sorting incoming mail to assembling policies and applications for mailing. The role also involves logistical coordination, including sending FedEx and Priority Mail packages, managing lock box check deposits, and printing checks for various departments. As a key team member, you will maintain office supplies, coordinate with vendors for mail room functions and document destruction, and serve as a backup for the Scanner/Indexer team.
