About the Role
The Machine Operator – Filler is the frontline guardian of our olive oil production line. In this role, you will operate and monitor automated filling equipment to ensure every bottle is dispensed with precision and efficiency. Your work directly impacts product quality, minimizing waste while maintaining strict compliance with food safety and production standards.
This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of our brand. You will be responsible for setting up machines, performing changeovers between production runs, and conducting routine quality checks to verify fill levels and bottle integrity. Whether identifying minor leaks or correcting overfills, your attention to detail ensures that only the highest quality product reaches our customers.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a dynamic mix of technical operation and vigilant monitoring. You will spend significant time standing and moving around the filling area, visually inspecting product flow and adjusting machinery according to specific product specifications. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with the production team, maintenance staff, and supervisors to resolve equipment irregularities and keep the line running smoothly.
Safety and sanitation are woven into every task. You will adhere to GMP and HACCP procedures, ensuring the filling area remains clean and compliant at all times. By accurately recording production data and reporting any malfunctions, you contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
